Erin Mullins

Life is a complex journey, and we all need support and wise counsel along the way. As a counselor, I am oriented toward each person’s wholeness and uniqueness. I facilitate the therapeutic process from a place of collaboration, navigating the path to your therapeutic goals while holding space for your long-term vision and purpose. I aim to provide a context where healing and growth happen. Whether you are seeking support for healing parts of your history and/or present patterns, I am here to help and committed to your counseling journey. I maintain a therapeutic container that is both strong and soft, held in compassion, activated by my commitment to supporting your development, and nourished by constant attunement to deep listening and skillful practice.

My work is rooted in years of experience in the healing arts and sciences. My most recent endeavor is earning a master’s in health psychology and counseling at Bastyr University. Additionally, I am a registered hypnotherapist, transpersonal process facilitator, craniosacral therapist, somato-emotional release practitioner, SOMA structural integrator, licensed massage therapist, Reiki Master/Teacher, and subtle energy practitioner. I have studied with spiritual teachers from a variety of traditions and am able to offer processes based on those teachings ethically and adeptly. I am trained as a birth/end-of-life doula and have a clear calling to support people through transitional times in life. It is always a good time to work on existential concerns and to prepare for future life stages. Such work softens the present moment and expands the quality of life. I am also a passionate plant person and work with plant and mineral essences in my practice.

My counseling work is strengths-based, feminist, humanistic, transpersonal, somatic, and existential. My role as a trauma-aware holistic counselor blends all that I have learned over time in service to safe integration and resolution. I employ a biopsychosocial spiritual orientation and am honored to work with people of all orientations and from every region of the world. If I am not able to offer effective counseling for an individual, I am happy to help find practitioners who can. I recognize my identities and work to keep them neutral in therapeutic spaces. My approach is ecological and holistic, meaning I work with the whole system even as we focus on a goal. My background in bodywork has taught me that where the pain manifests is often not where it is from. We are all vastly complex. We are also very embedded with patterns, some useful and others not as much. Counseling is a perfect place to explore our complexity and patterns and to choose how to cultivate ongoing meaning and authentic expression in a non-judgmental environment.

Counseling with me is anchored in evidence-based interventions and conversational processing, and may include somatic processes, transpersonal explorations, parts work, archetypes, neural support, and hypnotherapy. Transpersonal work can take the form of intuitive processes, energetic medicine, regression work, working with lineage patterns and existential concerns, compassionate depossession, soul retrieval, collective healing, cord work, and more. All processes in my office are facilitated with constant consent and resourcing, drawing on the inner wisdom of the client and from the whole human family.
